A CRM you talk to and swipe
rubyDane is an AI-native CRM for small teams. There is no dashboard and no data entry. You talk to Ruby, and you swipe.
What it is
rubyDane is a CRM built around an agent rather than a database. Ruby, the agent, reads the book of business you already have: past customers, unsold quotes, old leads, and, with your permission, the two years of email that hold those relationships. She works out who is worth a follow-up and why, drafts the email in your voice, scores her own confidence in it, and puts it on a stack for you.
You approve with a swipe. Right sends, left skips, hold edits. You have thirty seconds to take any send back. Nothing leaves without your yes.
How it works
- Setup is a conversation. Ruby asks a few questions about the business, reads your website, and, if you say yes, reads your inbox to learn how you write and find the people you forgot to follow up.
- Reactivation first. Her biggest gift is the list you already own. Past customers who went quiet, quotes nobody chased, leads that were never worked. She drafts each one knowing what that person last bought and what was last said.
- Go to market when you want it. When the warm list runs thin, she fetches new leads, enriches them, and drafts to them, native in the app.
- Review is a deck. Every draft is a card with the reason and the score. Your whole job is the swipe.
- Ask her anything. How did the week go. Who have we not spoken to since spring. Change the send window to mornings. She reads the real numbers before she answers, and plans the work before she does it.
How it differs from other AI CRMs
Most AI CRMs are the old CRM with a model attached: the same pipeline, the same fields, plus a button that writes the email. Some go further and automate the send entirely, which is why owners do not trust them.
rubyDane starts from the other end. The agent does the reading, the drafting and the scoring. The human does the one thing only the human should do: decide. We call that gamifying the permission, and it is the whole design. There is no dashboard because Ruby reads the data for you. There is no data entry because she reads the inbox. There is no sequence builder because she plans the campaign in a chat and asks for your go-ahead.
She reads the book, writes the follow-up, and waits for your yes.
Who it is for
Small teams and owner-operators with a real book of business and no time to work it. Trades, agencies, consultancies, local services, anyone whose revenue comes from relationships that go quiet when nobody follows up.
The beta
rubyDane is in public beta, and the beta is free. It includes 1,200 emails a month: 800 reactivation drafts to the people you already know, and 400 new leads fetched, enriched and drafted. After the beta, founding customers pay $120 a month for life; the launch price is $150.
On your data
Ruby reads your inbox only when you say yes. She keeps labels and short excerpts, never the mail itself. Nothing learned from your business is used for anyone else's. Every draft she writes carries the evidence it was written from, and you can open the thread she read.
